If whales could comminicate what would they say to each other? What would a conversation be like? "What did you do today?" "I pretty much ate some fish, you?" "I also ate fish." "Anything else?" "No, that's it pretty much, ate a bunch a fish."

I read that they communicate through tunes. As a group they will sound off a tune, a tune specific for a certain geographical area. However the tune evolves over time. This is a tidbit from what I read once. Other whales in different areas sing different tunes.

All MAMMALS communicate and the ones that uses the Morse code do must often. Have you seen a penguin fly? They do it when nobody is watching, maybe. Whales have to breath like you and me and they have to surface to get the precious life saving oxygen, then why do they die when they hit the shores?

Using body language and vocal communications...the vocals are usually not heard by humans without some kind of equipment. Some are quite audible to people, however.
