OF COURSE!
You know why? Because there is absolutely no scene in either The Godfather or Citizen Kane where primitive humans from the future who've been subjugated by alien beings called Psychlos who apparently have spaghetti coming out of their noses learn to rebel AND fly Harrier jets all thanks to reading dusty old copies of The Declaration of Independence at their local library.
It's like so totally wow inspirational that it made me wish I could be subjugated by alien beings called Psychlos, too, just so I could rise up in rebellion! And go to the library!

Ok I gotta tell ya that Battlefield Earth was so bad I fell asleep.
Citizen Kane and The Godfather are classic movies.

Citizen Kane is a classic...
I wasn't crazy about the Godfather movies...
The Battlefield books were far better than the movie....

You are joking, aren't you? You must be. This movie is not of the same genre as "The Godfather" and "Citizen Kane". "Battlefield Earth" was a comedy, pure and simple. We all had a grand time laughing at it, that is for sure.

are you talking about the one with john travolta? If so there is noo way that movie is better than the godfather or Citizen Kane. Those movies are timeless and a classic.. There is no way a movie like battlefield earth is better than those two classic movies..

The Book Battlefield Earth was excellent but the movie sucked bad! So if your going by books yes, but movies...godfather has it by a mile.
