i have met this guy and today was the second time i had seen him. i like him as a friend but that is all and i told him that today. he seemed to take it well but it was still awkward all day after that. now he wants me to meet him and go play cards with one of his friends tonight but i feel uncomfortable and i really don't have the gas money to go. what should i do and if i don't go what should i say?

You made your feelings clear. You shouldn't feel uncomfortable around him. If he invited you to play cards and there are other people around, don't worry about it.
If you really dont' want to go becuase you don't have gas money. Just let him know. There's always some other time. Don't do anything you don't want to do.

I can feel that you don't really want to go not just of the gas money. The only reason you want to go is becaus you felt akward and you wanted to explain more to him. Well, just explain to him. be honest n tell him the truth. That will be the best resolution.

If you really do not want to go then you answered your own question. Do not allow someone to make you feel uncomfortable. Maybe he doesn't get it and just wants to be friends.......maybe he enjoys your company and likes to spend time with you.. As long as you are honest with him, no worries.

say "if u come pick me up!!" i think u should go...he knows u just wanna be friends so just go hang with him...make sure theyre not gonna gang-rap u or something....ick..um...geez....yeah maybe u shouldnt go hang with him since u just met him....he might actually be pissed and do somethin to u or like drug ur drink or somethin...sry if im freakin u out but u dont kno this guy enough...DONT GO!!!
