pallisade mesophyll cells are found below the upper epidermis.
Spongy mesophyll cells are found near to the lower epidermis.

Pallisade mesophyll cells are arrenged close to each other.
Spongy mesophyll cells arranged woth intra-cellular spaces.

Well, one's palisade and one's spongy. What more do you need to know?

Click on the link I gave you below. That should give you some idea of the differences. For one, palisade has far more chlorophyll, because it's closer to the top and therefore the sunlight. I'm sure you'll find a lot more if you visit the site below.

Monocot leaves have parallel veins running from the stem to the tip. they are unnetted. (Lillies etc) Dicot leaves have veins originating in the central vein that runs the lenght of the leaf. These off shoot veins are further divided into a pattern called netting. (Oak, Maple etc.)
