Absolutely.
Our Church canceled all activities on Hallowe'en so that the kids wouldn't miss anything if they went trick or treating. They see it as a community event, not as evil.
I agree with them. Fresh air exercise, families exploring their neighbourhoods, calling on neighbours, grandparents photographing little tykes in costumes, everyone walking safely about....
There's even a Hallowe'en food drive.
It is a time to confront our fears as well, especially about death and dying. Happens to us all, strong and weak, rich or poor, Christian or not.

Halloween (like smoking, drugs, and a host of other issues) was never contemplated by those who wrote the Bible. Therefore, you kinda have to make educated guesses.
First, the people of Israel (Jews) often adapted religious practices from other religions into their own religion. That is one way that they coped with "competing religions" -- the just borrowed ideas that made sense to them.
Unfortunately, Baal worship incorperated a huge outdoor sex party in its worship (seriously!) as well as burning infants alive in human sacrifices. Judaism had to cope with something that would never fit, and they spent lots of energy fighting it. That's another way to cope -- fight it!
In the case of Halloween, we have the trappings of an alternative religion that is long since dead. (Before you Wiccans come unglued, you simply revived what you thought those practices were like, and it is NOT a continuation of those ancient Druid practices). Those religious beliefs are not widely shared, aside from the belief in ghosts (which the Apostles believed in!). Therefore I dont' think that there is a danger that little Johnny will really start believing in the ghosts and goblins and stuff by collecting candy.

If you believe in the paganism of Halloween, perhaps. However, most people think of it as a fun time to dress up, go to parties, and generally have a good time. So, go for it. There's nothing in either the new or old testament that says you can't have a good time.

Christmas was also a pagan celebration initially.
The bible says not to worship false gids and idols, but as long as u dun worship, but just have fun on halloween, it should be ok.

No. Halloween is the last remnant of a pagan culture that no Christian should practice. It is an observation of the occult.
