Well you can take part in all of the above but beware you will get your self in some form of trouble with ganja or marijuana, wondering on to a farmers field will not cause you any harm as long as you were not causing any trouble.
If you are looking for social activities its there, such as night clubs and many other means of enjoying the culture such as its history. It also depends on what time of the year you are visiting the country.
If you are looking,at the island from a nature person point of view, there is hiking in the blue and John crow mountains, cockpit country, Or go visit its many waterfalls such as duns river in St Ann,Y'S falls in St Elizabeth middle quarters to be approximate location. May fields falls in Hanover,in the hills, just out side of Montego bay. There is also river rafting on the Great river,Martha brae,White river and the (Mighty) Rio grande in Portland in the east of the island. so i hope that this bit will help you.

Reggae dancing and ganja smoking in Negril; Snorkeling in Negril; treking in Blue Mountains, swim in the famous Blue Lagoon, have fun in Dunn River Falls or Ys Falls or others (Mayfield Falls); rafting and descend the beatiful Rio Grande (Portland Parish). You can visit Cockpit Country in the mountains, also. Hassle in touristic areas (Negril; Montego Bay; Ocho Rios) is the worst. The most beautiful and relaxed part of island is Portland Parish (Port Antonio town). Few tourist go there. The southern beach of Treasure Beach is the ultimate paradise for someone who wants to relax.
