what is a good annual salary to make while living on Long Island?

i'm not talking about being a millionaire or anything, just living comfortably, go on vacations, live in a nice, decent sized house etc.

At least $150,000. The rent/mortgage payment will take a big chunk out of the salary!

Good salary is a lot of money to live on Long Island. Indiana is cheap and has lots to offer.
