★★ DISABLE AUTOCOMPLETE ★★

◙ If you have Yahoo Toolbar click on the edit button to disable the AutoComplete function.

◙ Internet Explorer

1. From Internet Explorer, choose "Tools" then "Internet Options".
2. From the "Internet Options" multi-tabbed dialog box that appears, select the "Content" tab.
3. Click the "AutoComplete" button.
4. Uncheck everything.
5. Click the "Clear Forms" button.
6. Click the "Clear Passwords" button.
7. Press "OK" to close the dialog boxes.

◙ NOTE: AutoComplete may not stay off completely because some webmasters have autocomplete="on" in the form tag in their web forms. If you come to one of these and you can't get the AutoComplete to leave you alone while you type something in to the form. Simply paste the text in from a wordprocessor or notepad and it won't bother you.

you need to clear your search history, clic tools, internet options, you'll see history under the general tab, set to 0 or just clic clear history. you might as well delete cookies and files while you are there. this will clear all your internet travels to all except very savy computer geeks. deselecting auto complete is also a vey good idea but it alone will not clear search history which you asked for.

On mine I have to click on control panel then click on Internet options and toward the bottom it says clear history. You can then put in a number 0-99 and if you click on that it should clear it for you. Good luck. Hope I understood your question correctly!

It's called AutoComplete. Basically your browser is saving any info you enter into forms. Follow what that guy up there said about going into Tools>Options, and clicking 'clear form history'.
