I believe that daughters are closer to their mothers than sons are by far. I can tell that in my personal life. I have two boys and I am hoping for a girl someday for that same reason!

I think so, I was way to closer to my dad than i ever will be to my mom. I think that choosing our hubands and wives has something to do with it, daughter's will look for her father's qualities in a husband and a son will look for his mothers qualities in a wife.

In general it's true. Boys are closer to their moms and girls closer to their dads.

not in my case but then I have 5 older brothers and I am the only daughter and I live next door to my mom...so geographically and emotionally closer daughter here!

Well it seems to be that way but it isn't always the case. My son is closer to me.

I don't think so. Every child is different! That's weird that you ask because me and my sister where just talking about that tonight! I am very close to my mom and my daughter is very close to me! She said that both of her boys seem distant to her. I really believe it depends on the child!

yes! I'm Daddy's Lil Girl... I only got closer to my mom after having my child.. but before we were oil & water

I think so....in some cases.... My brother is closer to our mother than i am................But my best friend is closer to her mom than her brother.....It depends on the person..........

not necessarily, i have 2 brothers and a sister and all of us are fairly close to our mom! so it really depends on the relationship!
