no we cant prove who wrote it all we can prove is that those people did in fact live in those times.even that is proved only through other written material.the bible is not hole and much of it was rewritten to suit governments, kings, and others in power.we may never know what the real books of the bible were about. the closest we can come is the book of Thomas witch is not in the modern bible, but is believed to have been written by Christs real brother and is vastly different from the books now in the bible. it was found in the 1900`s and though it tell the same story as other books in the bible their are things in it that can be found in no other book of the bible. my personal belief is that the book of Thomas is closer to the true teachings of Christ. here is the link

this next is one the modern christian will hate but it will open your eyes to the great lie.

Can anyone prove Plato wrote The Republic, how about Sun Tzu and the Art of War, or even Ceasar's Commentaries? I think what you're actually asking is can what they wrote be proven true.
I will admit not being an expert on the subject but there is a process used by historians to determine the accuracy of historical writings. The factor in such things as how long after event was it written, how many copies have survived, is the writer writing about what he saw or about what was described to him, and some other things too. Anyway, even non-christian historians will admit that the "accuracy" rating of the Bible is unsurpassed by any other document or collection of works, most give it a 99%. Does this prove any of the doctrines or beliefs put forth by the Bible are true?? No, but I'd be forced to give it some merit based on the accuracy alone.

No proof, just faith. What you must bear in mind that over the years a lot of the bible has been "altered" to suit the prevailing faiths, (especially the catholic faith) Some of the original gospels (e.g. St. Thomas )have been left out altogether. Some of the accounts, for example in the Mark and Luke gospels contradict one another greatly.

sorry, you can't prove that. You just have to accept it by faith. But what you can prove in the Bible is all of its scientific truths (eg: washing hands for cleanliness, the second law of thermodynamics, the water cycle, etc.).

For any author of a book, -they can make statements and it's pretty much your job to "prove" them wrong.
The onus is on you, - not the authors.
These guys gave their testimonies as to what they saw and heard. I have no particular reason to say they were 'wrong'.

it cannot be proved, no religion can be proved, or else we would all be believing in such a religion
all religions are based on faith, we have to believe what someone tells us is true, which is silly

No. Faith cannot be proven or disproven. A person will believe what they wish to believe, despite any facts to the contrary.

Probably not but how can you prove that they didn't? that's the whole problem, they can't prove it and we can't disprove it.
