My car is a 97 Corolla. For about one year, it has a loud noise staring, or larger than average vibration. Shops cannot ID the problem. One shop said it is the power steering pump problem. It drives fine, quieter when totally warmed up. Any guess?

Is it when your are turning right or left or both? is it a a particular speed or while idling? It could be ball joints, power steering pump, wheel balance or anything else. Need more info.
Why are some people hypocrites here. Find me a car that is 100% US, it doesn't exist. Oh! Corolla is assembled in the states.
