I think it is about time. In the 60's. A black person could not be with a white person romantically, could hardly talk to each other with stares. Now they can. I do not beleve that a black person and a white person should be romantically involved but i do not put people who believe in that down.It is their life, not mine. So what is wrong with gays getting married? Give me 1 good reason why they should not get married. After all. They are people like you and me. They derserve the same rights.

I agree with you and have supported gay marriage all along...they should have the same rights that hetero couples have and this may be the only way they can get it, one state at a time cause Washington is way too scared to do anything about it...

Gays have been getting married for a couple of years in Massachusetts, and, wow, the sky is NOT falling down! I am a woman married to a man, and I don't feel that my marriage is in the least bit threatened by my pal Lisa marrying the love of her life, who is another woman.
No, gay couples can't make babies. But what about widows and widowers who marry each other when they are 80 years old? Should they not be able to marry because they can't get pregnant?! I'm pretty sure my grandfather was not planning to impregnate his 78-year-old bride, so why should they be able to marry when gays can't?
The funny thing is that it seems like hetrosexual couples are avoiding marriage like it smells bad - even having multiple kids without marriage. Maybe someday gay couples will be the only ones willing to make a serious legal commitment to each other!
Anyway, I see no reason to deny anyone the right to marry the person they love as long as both parties are currently-unmarried consenting adults. It sure doesn't make me and my husband any less married.

I am really upset about the issue. I almost cried when I found out. I think these people are spitting on marriage as a whole. It is sick. And NJ is a big place so who knows what is going to happen in the next couple of years.

how can you say that about blacks and whites but you agree with gays? are you kidding? I think everyone in the world should be able to love and be with and marry anyone there heart desires!! i don't know why the world has a problem with this! i think we can't help who we fall in love with and everyone should have the right to marry regardless of who it is to!

We will never be able to seperste religion from politics. So when ppl see gay ppl together they think sinners. However if they read the bible fully they'll see that God says for you not to judge them for he will deal with them when he see them in the end. So I say love thy nieghbor and they do deserve the same rights every where in the world. I hope one day they will!!!!!!

i think that gay people have every right to be as miserable as straight people.
what does gay marriage lead to? gay divorce.
besides i live in Delaware, home of tax free shopping, and gay people like to spend lots of money, so it will be great for tourism.
