I don't believe in such a thing as gender responsibilities. It is the married couple's responsiblity to be good to each other. That's it.

Well if you think about it it all depends on the people. Some women may work so getting everything financially isn't it. In some situations like my parents my Dad works and my mom stays home takes care of everything needed there and does volunteer work allot. While in other cases both the husband and wife may work so they share the cleaning and cooking responsibility depending on there schedules. It all really depends on what the wife wants out of the marriage as to what the responsibilities the husband has.

marriage is ultimate partnership. Husband's main responsibility is to live every moment as a tribute of his love for his wife. If husband does that and wife does same, then they will have very happy long marriage with much joy.

The best source I know of is to start with the Bible. Set an appointment with a Pastor or Priest, and see if there are classes available - couples or singles - that helps to specify what makes a good husband (and a good wife).
This will be helpful to both members of the couple.
Another source is listed below.

there are a lot of responsibilities. you should love, cherish, and respect your wife at all times. You are the provider for the family. You should make sure your wife has everything required for a desent life. Most importantly you should always make your wife feel loved. For a complete list of responsibilities read the bible. If you do not have one email me with your address and i will be happy to send you one free of charge. God Bless.

husband=house+bound. that explains it all. this is indeed the origin of the word and the customs demand that new husbands follow the rules of keeping the house -- in good order. that includes paying the mortgage, cleaning, cooking, looking after the kids, love and affection to the Mrs. -- now you did not ask the responsibilities of the wife-- that is another question.

there is no written rules of what the husbands responsiblities are. Your relationship is a give and take. Like I don't like to cook so my boyfriend cooks and I wash the dishes. Everyone runs their home differently. Some men stay home with the kids while the wife works. I think the only responsiblity he has is to love, respect and not cheat on you. The rest you guys should make up.

To be an honorable man who loves his wife and want only the best for her.
If you mean household chores....that's a marriage by marriage decision.
