I'm writing a research paper on the UN Partition of Palestine into an Arab section and a Jewish section (so basically the creation of Israel), and I'm totally stuck with coming up with a thesis statement. Thesis statements are always so hard for me to come up with, but especially this one. Does anyone have any suggestions???

Sorry for being so vague!
Specifically, I want to write about why exactly the partition didn't exactly resolve the conflict, possibly because no Arab countries are part of the UN. Thanks for helping me out!

in order to have a thesis statement, you have to take a stand. Was it bad? Was it good? Was it unfair to one of the parties involved? Did the UN have right to do it? Do Jews have a right to the land? Do arabs have a right to the land? Should the US have gotten involved?
Just some ideas, but I can't help you write a thesis statement if I don't know exactly what you want to write about.

The establishment of the State of Israel, marking Jewish independence, was met by the Arab world as an insult stemming from the Islamic requirement that Jews be oppressed under an apartheid-like social system called Dhimmitude.

Hello, I think this thesis statement is perfect for your paper darling. :)
Palestine is the homeland of the Arab Palestinian people, it is a greater part of Arab homeland, and the Palestinian people are an integral part of the Arab nation. The Jews who resided in Palestine until the beginning of the Christian invasion are considered Palestinians. The Palestinian identity is a genuine, essential, and original characteristic. The Christian occupation and the dispersal of the Palestinian Arab people, through the disasters which befell them, do not make them lose their Palestinian identity and their membership in the Palestinian community, nor do they negate them.
