Married to her! Of course, there were "crushes" before her, but at 15, and falling in love with Paula, I consider her my first LOVE. We dated for a few years, and went our own way, but got back together later on after 20 years, now we are happily married, and we know it's forever!!! :)

Yep! I am married to him. I was 25 when I first met him. He is the only man I have ever dated, kissed, etc..... I married him 3 years later. I was a virgin bride at the age of 28.

Oh gosh, yes. I had crushes, but my first love...wow. Of course I remember him. I met him in college. We were completely opposite types...he was a conservative, quiet, religious, science major. I was a liberal, loud (obnoxious?), no religion, elementary education/history major. We met at a mock rush party - long story there...he wasn't even invited, just got taken to it (he was a member of a gaming group a friend of mine belonged to...add "nerd" to his qualities). I was trashed, he's almost straight-edge, so, none of that for him. I believe in honor of the party I was dressed in head to toe black, heavy makeup, and a studded collar. (My friends and I were..um...different). Just the sort of girl he'd talk to. :-p
Yeah. We talked all night. And he invited me to a concert. And we talked all that night. And then I invited him to a movie on St. Patty's Day. And then he called me after we got home and invited me to a gig a friend of his was playing up in one of the bars that night. And he *gasp* drank!!! And then my friends were having a (more normal) party that night, so we ended up hanging out in my dorm until 430am. At which point, after cuddling with me and, as usual, talking all night, he said "I really care about you"...and, NOTHING happened. EVER. And we continued to pseudo-date (as I call it) for well over a year...It was just crazy...we went out all the time, talked I don't know how many hours, when something bad happened, guess who we called first? I think we were mind-tripping each other and second-guessing a LOT. But, lordy, was I in love with him. After we graduated college, he was moving to Oregon (grad school), I moved to New Mexico (job), and without telling me ahead of time, he drove to NM to see me on his way out there (from NY)...where I had the task of telling him I'd impulsively married someone. And he left about 10 minutes later. :-(
I last talked to him in May, I think, maybe June...I'm married, with a baby, completely in love with my husband (not the NM one...boy, was THAT a mistake). He's still single (as far as I know), just got his doctorate, and was weighing decisions regarding where he was going next. I don't think I'll ever forget him; does anyone forget their first love? But, I've moved on. Every once in a while I indulge a "what if" in my head...but, honestly, I don't think we'd be very happy...it would end up being so anti-climactic after being built up for this long. I prefer to NOT have it become reality, I think...

Yes, I was in 3rd grade. George was in another 3rd grade class.
He was so handsome. I will never forget the silver heart that he made for me. I cherished it but one day it was missing. Another boy stoled it because he was jealous that I was not in love with him. That memory is very old, and I know I will never forget it.

Yes i do....
crazy story....it was on halloween. I didnt go out my best friend came over and were just online...chatting on myspace...i typed in to view guys who lived in france....there on the 1st page i saw this guy that just grabbed my attention...so i visited his page and it said that he lived in a city near me...but then i saw that he had a Gf. so i was like nope im not going to request him...my friend encouraged me to though. so i did...it wasnt until december that he wrote to me...we started talking and then finally in february we met...we have been dating ever since. Since the very begin it was great....i felt like myself with him. and i just knew. i remember telling my aunt that he was for me....he feels exactly the same way about me. ;] Weve gone through some major drama.....due to my family we stop dating.....but we still found our way around to see eachother....he even switched high schools his senior year just to be with me....were still together and as happy as could be and crazy in love!

You bet I do. We met, and went through high school together as sweethearts, and married the day after graduation. 45 years later I'm still as nuts about my lady as I was back in high school.

30 years later I look at it and think: OH MY GOODNESS WHAT WAS I THINKING?
At 16 it is very easy to be bullied and bossed by a love interest. Boy am I glad I broke up with him.
