Lots of vegetable oil or vaseline to lubricate the surface. Don't yank the bird off, only try to pull sloooooowly.
Take it to the vet, if you want extra help.

Hey,
My friend had his Gecko (Fred) step in a glue trap. They were going to take him to the vet, but I looked online, and found a web page that said this happens all the time, and anything oily would clean off the glue.
I remember some of the stuff, peanut butter, regular butter, but the one we used was cooking oil.
You could try using cotton swabs, and just dabbing butter or whatever on your bird, and seeing what happens.

Wesson oil.... If th bird has feathered areas stuck you may to take to vet. But if its only feet then wesson oil or crisco type oil will work..
THEN throw away your glue traps! DO NOT use pnut butter or GAS or any kind og NON edible oil!
Good Luck

I heard that dish soap is used to get oil off of birds, I am sure you can use it for glue as well.
