I am returning an mp3 player to best buy that isnt working, and I am going to get it replaced. yes I have a warranty. I have had the mp3 player since July. I want to replace it with a mp3 player the same price, but a different brand. will they let me do that or do I have to get the same thing again?

If best buy is not working as you say, how can you take anything back to them?

YES ,they will let you exchange it for an equally priced item(s).But if the item(s)that you wish to purchase are more expensive than that of the receipt price of your return, you will only have to make up the difference.Which shouldn't be much since most mp3 players have leveled off in price. There should be no reason for them to deny you an exchange unless stated in the return policy guide lines.Except if your warranty is expired.

They may not take it back at all . It depends on what your warranty says. Do you have to send it back too the manufacture?
