I would go with black accessories. You don't have to (I've heard) but I would.

H&M is as good as any american retailer, I've been to both.

Red + black + brown + gold or other metallics = hot.

Don't wear too many accessories, though. Most of us guys don't like them. Earrings and a necklace or bracelet is plenty.

BTW, you won't look like a shamble in that outfit regardless of the accessories you wear.

Go have some fun!

Have you thought of gold shoes? Or bronze colored shoes? I would go that route. Either way, if you are dressing up, put on gold-toned earrings, necklace, ring and bracelet... either made of metals and/or beads or silks. Depending on the dress, you may not need it all. I like to wear a subtle one of each (earring, necklace, etc), but then one of them have more flair than the rest. Or, since you are in the UK and its likely getting chilly, maybe add a fun fake fur scarf or a really great bag to offset a classy dress.

What kind of cut is the dress? (strapless, spaghetti strapped...)
Is this for a formal dance or just a special occasion?

If it's a dance I reccommend simple jewelry that won't annoy you when you're dancing; simple diamond-ish studs or slight dangles with a simple matching necklace. Bracelets are up to you, but personally I think they get in the way of dancing, and most rhinestone/diamond bracelets have rough edges and get stuck to clothes and such so be careful with your dress/ your date's shirt/jacket.

Have fun!

actually if you get some accessories that will compliment your dress, a lil black, or even some that are of diamond look, because you don't want your jewelry to blend in w/your dress, so try different shades of green or mauve or green w/burngundy in it, somethin to pull the colors out and accent your dress even multi color bracelet or necklace!

Good luck

If I were you, I would wear a strand of pearls... maybe some nice black ones. And some black dangly earings, or some diamond studs.
Hope I helped!
