You will have to check with the courts there. If Ohio was were you got the divorce I would say yes then have his check garnished. If this is for child support get a hold of your social services child protection and they will help you file the papers

Was he your husband? If so, then whatever the divorce court ordered will still stand in any state. You would have to contact the court to find out what to do. If you weren't married, you can file a claim against him in the state you live. He would have to show up wherever you are.

if you have proof he owes you, then yes small claims court is an option... but, if it may cost YOU more than the money he owes you... ask a lawyer about it... most time a consultation is free... he will be able to tell you if it is worth going for or stricking it up as a life leason !! God bless

You may have to file in the state that he resides.
Best to consult with an attorney and find out all of your legal rights - what of calling the attorney you used in your divorce?

Yes, you can go to a small claims court, and garnish his wages until you are paid off.

baby girl, unless it documented or have a witness of the transaction. you can't do anything about it. i think you just need to cut your loses and move on. you don't even want to do anything with him any more.
