i had a mouse a few weeks ago.if you want to use glue trap go for tomcat glue trays in the rat size dont buy the board kind they will get away.another one is victor mouse traps bait them with penut butter mixed with dry oatmeal or a small piece of chocolate.put them where you see droppings or put them near baseboards.the tip for none steal bait on a mouse trap is put only a small amount about the size of an eraser on a pencil.i you want to spend a little more money try the victor electronic mouse trap or rat zapper.if you dont have children or pets you can use rodenticides a.k.a.mouse poison.they are very effective on controling mice and rats.also put tabasco sauce or pepper mint oil on cotton balls to prevent them or moth balls.soda in a small container should help they drink it and they cant burp so they die.

Give it away lol
put some sprite in a lid of a soda bottle and set it where you know the mouse goes... the carbonation messes them up because they can't burp.
Otherwise mouse traps and peanut butter especially if you have animals.
If you try to use the decon it is harmful to other animals and you need to shut off all water supplies in order to get the mouse to outside to die because Decon makes them thirsty so they go looking for water.. it then makes them sick and they die. If you don't want dead mouse where you can't find them you gotta get rid of the water sources.

Use a mouse trap. Put very little bait in it (peanut butter is great) so when it touches the bait, the trap will shut and kill the mouse. Throw the mouse and trap away. The traps are cheap enough, about 2-3 for a dollar. God luck!!
Chow!!

Buy a cat, lol.
Or call an exterminator/pest controll office, or buy glue traps, snaptraps, or haveaheart traps, or poison. There are also some devices which emit high pitched sounds to drive away the mice (you can't hear them).
Mice can most often always find a way in, however. You often see them around the house more often if it's cold out.

Get a cat in the house, or just borrow someones cat. You can also try mouse traps.

Get a cat.
No get 2 cats. One can distract the mouse while the other sneaks up from behind and grabs him.
Then they can have a celebratory feast.

You get a trap that traps them alive. Mice like anykind of food, but in my search I found that strawberry jelly is suppose to be their favorite. We catch them in the barn when they search for the bird seed and fall into the buckets and can't get out. If you use poison, they die in your house and it stinks days later. If you use sticky paper, they can either get off of it, or will scream till they die in a frenzy to escape. That is not something that is humane or nice to listen to. Live traps are the best.

Step on it ---- just kidding. Put peanut butter in a mouse trap. Good luck because if you have one mouse there is probably more.

A fast cat with a healthy appetite or a shotgun. The cat is cleaner but the shot gun is the surest albeit messier.
