ok well heres the story : A prominent boston businessman has been arrested for aiding fugitives from southern bonded servitude in 1856. Everyone knows he is guilty and he says he will commit the crimes over and over again until the African slaves are free.

ok what i have to do is this - As a reporter for a very abolitionist paper, you can deduce how the jurors will act just from all of the fanfare throughout the city. Describe how the jurors should render a verdict.

I have no idea what to do lol

You dont know how to anwser this and your in AP goverment? Well first off look to Dead scott decision for help casue that has to do with what your loking for. Also there is a consitiutional amendemnt clause passed saying that you have to return slaves to their owner if they escape.

well the abolitionist's where against slavery so they would not consider it a crime, i think.
