He dyed it black for 2 reasons. 1. Yes, for the movie hairspray. 2. he was sick of his whole carrer being about his hair. He wants people to like him for his acting skillz not his looks.

Yeah he is the main character. And I think he looks horrible with black hair he has to change it back or I won't be a fan anymore!

I like him in blond hair. I dont think he'll look too good with his hair dyed black ! It wud be terrible

nehh....i dont think he look good in black....i liked it when it was brownish......too badd he just had to change it....oh yea he is on the movie hairspray.....hes the main character!!!!
