when i was little, at the last minute my parents let my sibling and i go trick-or-treating, so I put on a colorful old dress of my mom's, then a rag around my hair on my head, and i carried a crystal ball that was really a glass ball and told people i was a crystal ball reader....

You can borrow stuff from your friends, that's what I do. or go original with a ghost costume.
