mfortable cause he is crazy about his wife?

2006-10-25 12:49:11 · 13 answers · asked by Anonymous in Family & Relationships Friends

We both talked to her and my husband told her that she is trying to be sexy around him and he said that she was disrespecting me, his wife by doing that and it's wrong...eventually she apologised and we are not friends anymore..because my husband thinks that true friends would not betray their own and he is right.

The friend would need to be confronted and let her know that the husband is uncomfortable with the flirting and the sexy dressing. Plus if she is your friend she would not disrespect you that way. You may want to think about getting rid of her as a friend.

I would ask her why she feels the need to flirt with my man? If she is a true friend you are allowed to ask and if she gets mad then she wasn't such a good friend was she? A lot of women want what they can't have or live to break up good relationships because they think that makes them better or prettier or even sexier. Tell her she needs to find another man to put it over on. Have your husband introduce her to someone you both know. But, I wouldn't put up with it. It isn't cool to do that to your friend. No way no how! End it now! Her self esteem must be pretty low, don't let her use you and your man to build it up again.

Wonder why you even call her your best friend.

She's either being sociable and doesn't know she's overdoing it or is moving in to take your husband for her own reasons.

If it's the latter she could be wanting to get even with you for some kind of grudge, she may have been using your friendship to get access to him, she may try to get him to cheat and then use it to make it seem like she came onto him and get him out of your life because she's jealous of the time you spend with him or she may just be evil and wants the sadistic thrill of seducing a married man and the ego boost of taking another woman's man in the belief that it makes her "better" than you in her mind which is really shallow.

You should bring it to her attention soon.

i would say i would tell the best friend to back off. i would say try to do it in a tactful way, but it doesnt seem like much of a best friend if shes acting that way. thats pretty disrespectful. i would definatly have a talk with this person and let her know that it bothers you and the husband and that its disrespectul to you and harmful to the relationship. if she has a problem with that, then maybe shes not that great of a friend. if shes in need of attention from a male, maybe you can help her find other ways to get it.

if you are sure this is what is going on then the *friend*, and I use that term loosely, needs to be talked to and maybe droped as a friend... a friend would NOT flirt or make advances towards a true friends husband, boyfriend etc........ I would think real hard about this so called *friend* in my life....... God bless

Get her alone and let her know that you do not want to see that any more. (If she was your best friend she wouldn't be flirting with your husband).
Let her know he does not like the way she is acting in front of him. Tell her keep it up and she will lose friends.

Well if your best friend is a guy, your husband is in trouble and that's why he feels uncomfortable. If its a girl, he probably can't believe how lucky he is and is uncomfortable because he thinks you won't invite her to have a threesome with you two.

This is not how a "best friend" conducts herself. It's time to move on. She's not worthy of your friendship.

If the flirting bothers you and you want her to stop...tell her to stop...but if it doesnt bother you but it bothers your husband either tell him to get use to it n quit tryin to earn points from you by tellin you it makes him uncomfy..(cuz you know as well as I do that he really enjoys it but woulnt tell you that)...or quit takin her around him.

Take her to the side and tell her you won't see her anymore if she is going to keep that up.
