I do that on a regular basis hahaha... Like a piece of cheese cake. It is not logical to eat it all because you could gain weight, but it sure would taste great and I would be happy.. haha or another example.. Logic says "I should not marry this man because he works at mcdonalds, and will go nowhere in life, but, he treats me like gold, and loves me so much, he makes me happy" there is not much logic in happiness, I would choose the happiness. We only live once.

This is a trick question, since in answering the question I need to logically think about the various alternatives... and my brain by definition will resist thinking about giving up logic!

You could argue that people in a "Garden of Eden" type of paradise are extremely happy but not logical... it sounds nice, but it also sounds very simple and childish too.

And most importantly, who said that I can't be happy and logical too? I think it's pretty easy to be logical and happy at the same time, so why would I give up logic to be happy?

No... a person will not be happy if he would not be able to know the reason why he's happy... I believe that happiness is just a state of mind, it's not a permanent feelings... I rather live in a reasonable system for I know I wouldn't hurt somebody, rather than being happy knowing that it's not reasonable to be one.

If I had to give up logic, I would be unhappy!
A big part of my being happy is being able to 'play' with logic. Without it I would stop being me. What is there to be happy about?

hugs could have many categories and outcomes. what's maximum serious is how the two people sense. while you're no longer feeling the affection once you hug, then it quite is not suitable if it quite is a hug.. it quite is meaningless. a real hug is while the two people hug by way of fact they quite want to be in each and each others palms. and while they get there, they sense the affection between them. once you get a real hug, you will sense it. it quite is not the actual touch. it quite is the affection that makes you sense sturdy.

i'll give up everything to be happy all the time, although, we all know its not possible, but yes...logic, reasoning ...i will give it up, however, i have to accept that to ignore logic or reasoning to be happy is a little stupid as the outcome will be heartbreaking anyway....

Yes.
Because if you weren't logical, you wouldn't know the difference of what you were missing. If I had to choose, I'd rather be happy.

yes, i must say i would and am. the things i endure in my current relationship make no sense, yet to stay happy i do, say, and go through alot of illogical, senseless, and unneccessary things. but i'm happy, go figure.
