Several songs are sung before matches. "You'll Never Walk Alone" is often sung and The National Anthem is always sung.
Don't know about the Star Wars bit, though.

The song depends on which ground you are at.
Each premiership team plays its own song at its own ground. Anyone who says different is not a football fan.

Hey Shakeylee, are you referring to the TV theme song? If you are, I think it depends entirely from which Content Provider you are receiving from. For instance, here in Malaysia, we get live matches from ESPN ASIA, which gets its feed from SKY.
The theme song is very catchy, and I note that it is also played when the EPL Highlights show is on direct from UK.
I can't answer your question as to the name, but if we agree on this, then we will just have to wait for someone to tell us the name...

Before every EPL match, when both teams are lined up, the official Premier League anthem is played.
Judge Jules (famous Brit DJ and huge Arsenal fan) was asked to make a mix of it and it is a huge hit in clubs throughout Europe.

they play loads of songs if its a nice day they play... its a beautiful day. i think one of the funniest thing a commentator's said was during the 2006 world cup and Brazil was waiting to come out onto the pitch and the song they was playing was... i predict a riot and the camera was on ronaldo and the commentator said i predict a diet
