No. Technically, a bastard is any child born out of wedlock. So, whether you have both parents, if they were not married when you were born, then you are considered a bastard. So, Suri Cruise and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt are bastard children. if you think of this that way, in the U.S., there are millions of bastard children-from babies to adults!

A lot of the time it seems like the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, and an arseholes do seem to breed areseholes. But children do have the golden window of opportunity called adolescence in which to rebel against terrible parents and their awful ideas.
