I have an Olsen Airco BCL-120S and I'm trying to figure out how to turn just the blower on without having to fire the furnace up. I have my woodstove piped into it on the intake side as instructed by a few people including an HVAC mechanic. He told me over the phone that there is a white pin I would have to pull out to turn the fan on. I see no such thing. Any Ideas? Thank you!

I'm not familiar with that furnace.
Take a look at the low voltage wiring on the furance. You should see terminals something like I describe below..........
R,Y,G,C,

R-24 volts
Y-cooling
G-fan
C-common

Now look at the t-stat wiring. how many wires do you have?
2?
3?
5?

All that it takes is a jumper from R to G and the fan will run continuos. If you have enough wires and your T-stat supports seperate fan function then it is only a matter of hooking up the "g" wire on both the sub base and heater.

If you need, you can e-mail me newt@newtgadget.com and I'll walk you through it.

The thermal fan switch will look like a silver box mounted in the control section of the furnace. It is about the size of a deck of cards. The white pin will stick out of the front of the box. Pull it out to run constantly. Push it in for automatic.

Nope. Been servicing the things for 30 years but am unfamiliar with your unit. Get the owner/operator's manual and read it. It'll tell you. Failing that, get on the net to the company and get the directions. It doesn't make sense that they would put out a unit without a fan on/off switch but when engineers are involved most anything is possible.

THere should be a switch on the back of your furnace, possibly white or red. It possibly is marked fan bypass or summer fan only. It should be mounted above your burner or on your plenum. Just my opinon because both of mine were there. hope it helps you.
