There are numerous side degrees I have received the Gordian knot which is only available in Indiana In the US. But some Grand Lodges recognize fun degrees Like The infamous 4th lecture and goose and tater also only available in Indiana

You could do a lot worse than get in touch with Grand Lodge in the UK, as a general rule they are extremely open to questions from folks with a genuine curiosity.

The site above gives quite a lot of information from how to become a freemason and what it is all about - to more esoteric information.

You can even go on a guided tour in London to see inside a lodge room. Once you have made a little effort to understand what is freely offered, they will be only to happen to help you further.

It may however help to define quite what you mean by "Masonic bodies", for example there are many degrees (side degrees) in masonry - but there are also bodies which are not actually *directly* masonic in nature BUT require you to be a freemason to gain admittance. SRIA being one for example, though that thankfully is far from defunct.
