On tuesday I had a interview at a hospital I understand that they need to do a police record check and a referees check too. My question is if i was not apoint an job would they still do the checks an which would they do frist the referees check or the police check .?

hosptials will do a police check because you are serving the public and usually they do that first. All the check is is to make sure you are not a crook or have done a serious crime. Don't worry about it unless you HAVE done a criminal act or a secret identy (osama?)

If you had an interview, then they probably will do the reference checks if the interview went well. If, during the interview they decided not to hire you, they would not go any further to check you out. It would be a waste of time.

Ok, you aren't going to get the job if you don't learn to spell correctly. Its reference check and they do that first. then the police check, they don't do the checks on people they know they aren't going to hire.
