I have kept it quiet for few months, but now I need to call for your help!!

My boyfriend still keeps his ex girlfriends stuff...
Here's a list of his possessions;
- Letters from exgf
- A pair of her socks (once he wore them to surprise me, thinking I'd find it funny....but no bloody way!!)
- Her pictures in everywhere (but not so visible)
- A letter from her school to her telling about her results etc.
- Her exam slip
- Her ID from high school(?)
- Few sheets for a double bed from the flat they used to share
...and there must be more which I don't know... (sigh)

Do many guys have this kind of habit, or is it just him?
Does it seem like he's not over his ex?

He asked me to share a flat with him, yet I don't want to move in if he's bringing all these relics into the new place...

Shall I just let him go with all these craps?

I keep little things like a funny card or first love letter they wrote. Some things are hard to toss. But when you are in a new relationship that shouldnt be something you keep around. I know my boyfriend has pictures from high school and some high school souveniers that he wont throw away, but we went through boxes and he actually threw pictures of him and his ex's away right in front of me. I told him, what are you doing? You don't have to do that, he said "why would I keep it? its just junk now and I have no need for them, me and you are together" So I was like ok but just don't do it because you think I want you to, if you want to keep them, keep them. So I mean it kinda sounds like he is still attached to her. Maybe just have him put them in a box far away in a storage closet, then one day he will be over it and throw it away like my boyfriend. Good Luck!!!

I can understand keeping a few items from an ex that were sentimental, but this sounds a little rediculous! He actually put on the socks??? Yes, this is weird, and no, don't put up with it.

No! Some hang ups are ok, but this guy is going way overboard. He needs to give some of it up if he wants to keep you. And No, don't move in, imagine how messy a move out could be. He needs to prove himself a bit more first.
