Like it's going to be the perfect night with beautiful moonlight and owls on the treetops and jack-o-lanterns in the yards and it's going to be slightly chilly so you can see your own breath in the deep night and see the harmony and cooperative nature in this world? Is this just the child in me?

Perhaps you have expectations related to the date. Traditionally, Halloween had many connections to the earth's cycle. If you do such research, you will determine that Halloween had many different meanings. I encourage you to think like a child. I work to achieve that status often.

probably but there is somethign about halloween that gets me too, i just love all the people that have decorated to make it look scary but it all looks just i don't know kind of just in place idkk
