because people are popping out babies like there some sort of big fab now ( i think it is the big thing now) there are sooo many hungry people out in the world and there is starting to be not enough food or so the government says eney way . and the world just seem to be over populating do u think that maybe the world will only give a limit to how many kids we have ? and then fix the weman after they have the limet or do i have a really big emagination ?

No. They do in China because it's a communist country and they can control the people and make them do what they want on pain of imprisonment. In some villages, the women's menstrual cycles are displayed in the town square for all to see and know.

Old traditions still remain, though, and most Chinese want male babies. So, they will abandon girl babies to die all over the place in the hope that the next one will be male. That's why when you see Chinese adopted babies in the US, they are always girls. They want to get rid of them.

A birth quota will never go over in a free country like the US. (At least you tried the spell check!)

If anything, the developed countries will start enforcing laws that restrict family size (not anytime soon, but when resources REALLY run out) however, the really uneducated and impoverished countries will not be able to enforce such laws, and that is where the highest family birthrates are. That would casue a huge ratio of the worlds poorest people and make the few rich countries EXTREMELY richer until the rich eventually die out.
If such a law is never enforced, the worlds resources will quickly run out.
Maybe I'm just being pessimisstic, but I was doing alot of thinking about this the other day when yahoo had that article about worl resources running out.

Don't they do that in China already? Isn't that why so many people adopt girls from China now? I agree with you that is seems like big (okay hudge) families seem to be the current trend, but birth rates tend to trend generation to generation. And there are quiet a few people with one or no children at all. I think it will adverage itself out in the long run...

We BETTER figure out how to limit births... FYI.. By the year 2025 the worlds population will double... By the year 2050 we will need a planet TWICE our current size to keep up our use of natural resources..

China has a ban on the number of children you can have as a family. They have the ban because of space issues. I think long before the 'world' has this ban we will find new homes in the stars.
