I'd take Gone With the Wind because I can read it over and over and not get bored. If I were to be stranded on this island, I'd take an island survival/plant identification book for obvious reasons and I'd take a medical book for the same. If not, I'd take People of Paper by Salvador Plasencia because I've been wanting to read it again and I'd take Pablo Nerudo On the Blue Shores of Silence Poems of the Sea because a) amazing b) it fits the island theme.

3. A book on how to make a flight balloon.
