I don't think I ever did. But, my Mom was a big JCPenny catalog shopper and I remember one holiday season circling everything in the catalog I wanted and waking up Christmas morning to find she got it all! Way to go Mom!
OK, so actually I didn't "wake up" Christmas morning and find I got it all. I was one of those kids that always found all the presents hidden in every nook and cranny we had AND I also peeked at my gifts under the tree. It is a shame I live with even to this day and I swear I never peek anymore. NO. Really. I swear!

My son wrote a letter to Santa Clause when he was little and we got a postcard back in the mail.
He always gets what he asks for, but he never asks for much.

Well my brother and I used to go through ads and cut out pictures of what we wanted, then we'd glue it to paper. Some of it was presents from our parents, and some of it was from "santa". I found out santa wasn't real when my mom and I were at Target returning something and I saw a receipt in her wallet for one of my brother's presents from santa. Oops.

Yes, and then I found out that "Santa Claus" was really my Dad.
