I have these Mason Jars at home that I am using for part of my halloween decorating scheme. I am putting calf hearts in them to be part of my decore. Now I don't have lids for them could anyone suggest something ... I don't want them to smell they have to sit in the office all day long for the judging contest. My area of the office is MAD LAB theme.

You're allowed to goof off like this in an office!? Sounds like a friggin' high school.

Well first off that's really nasty. Why not of used fake items or non-smelly items? My bro went as a mad brain surgeon and used cauliflower with some food die, looked pretty good. Of course his still smelled because my dad poured vinager in it and kept telling people to smell it. That aside, maybe some tin foil with a rubber band over it. That's the best I can think of other then a real lid. Just pray nobody knocks one over or you might make the worst list costume and your co-workers sick.

you would need the original Mason Jar tops, you understand they have a center separated from the screw tops now you could try to find some thing to keep the smell out and secure what you have decided to use for the display!
I think Aluminum foil would add to the "trick" of it!
enjoy!!

Mayonnaise jar lids should work or you can buy Mason jar lids at Walmart or any grocery store. They aren't very expensive.
