I mean that he saw the ball was in the air and going to Henry's foot, but Dida just stood there and waited for the ball to go in the goal instead of jumping or clobbering the ball from Henry's feet. The goal was very close range so there was no problem for that giant Dida to take the ball away. I am not bashing Dida in any way, because it the team's fault they could not score any goals. And the Brazil defence was not anywhere to be seen during that play.

It's really only an assumption as to how Dida saw that event unfold. We have had a different view of the goal from TV and the benefit of watching replays over and over in analysing them. He hasn't. His vision of it would be very different to ours and he only had a split second to react. Henry was unmarked and as you say close to the goal and moving forward. There would have been some power in that kick and I sure wouldn't like to be the one to try to stop an Henry goal under those circumstances.

i seriously doubt tht france paid brazil sme amount... i really do... or else, how cud ronaldinho not score? how cud my ronaldo not score??? thts not possible... n after the match, there was no brazilian player hu was sad!!! they were all jus in their usual mood!!! n dida cud have stopped tht i noe, n where was roberto carlos! he was not evn there in the dee! brazil ccan win any match wen players of tht quality was there, im sure france paid em some amount or else they wont perform tht bad!!! n u noe tht ronaldinho is an expert in free kicks! he missed the last free kick he got!!!!
i seriously doubt tht this was a drama played by those twp teams!
