Crop rotation is planting different crops in the same spot every so many years to avoid depleting the soil of certain nutrients. Some crops use more of certain nutrients and can be rotated with another crop that uses more of another kind of nutrient. Also some crops actually replace certain nutrients back into the depleted soil.

if you plant the same crop over and over in the same place it will mess up the soil certain crops take different minerals from the soil and there are some crops that if you plant in the same place cause certain bugs to set up shop and ruin your crop the next year

matters where you live and what kind of crops you are going to grow. Where i live we use corn as a rotation for alfalfa hay we grow the hay for 3 years then plant corn. or on corn fields we plant after 3 years we plant grain. hope this helps

Depends on where you live and if you have raised bed and how large you gardne is. you rotate crops to reduce pests and not exhaust the soil. I plant soy bean, then corn,then beets, then tomatoes

Planting soybeans one year. The next year plant field corn. etc.
Keep a record on paper if you have many acres to keep track of.
