Yeah, I'll buy that. Although, she won't ADMIT anything, self-centered people never admit fault, they simply can't countenance the fact that they could have said or done anything that offends people.
To be fair, I've heard Ann Coulter speak many times on the cable news channel FOX, and in some ways, she's as self-centered and ego-centric as Couric, I just happen to agree with her politically a little more!! LOL

I disagree with you.
I've watched Katie for many years. She's very impressive. She's paid her dues in local news stations, as well as the very demanding venue of morning talk...think about it...to appear very early in the morning; to look in a camera and communicate with millions of people; to maintain dignity and credibility, not to mention just being able to articulate any sort of view, ask intelligent questions, and, since the Today show was not a "hard news" program, to exhibit personality, and charm.
Just how many of you who find it very easy to criticize or take a cheap shot could walk ten feet in her shoes much less a mile.
Don't think I'm just being an apologist for her...I'd say almost as much for most people who have the very difficult job of looking at a camera and communicating...it ain't easy.
I will say that I think she's one of the best. Personally, I hate that she's left the Today show...watching NBC News is such a habit that I still haven't seen her on the CBS News, except for a few clips; and those, I thought were excellent. But mostly, I really miss her on the Today show...I've watched it since Dave Garroway (I was very young), and I think she and Matt Lauer were great.

I really do not know her at all , and have never ever watched her, except to see her pictures. And who may Ann Coulter be?
The name is somewhat familar, unable to place her? Yahoo check the spelling does not know them either!

Haven't watched her new spot - don't intend to. Personnaly, I think that it was Matt Lauer that carried the today show, certainly not Katie. Over paid and not skilled at what she is paid to do. But, that is just my opinion. Obviously CBS has a different one.
