How does a song speak to u? Like when you hear a song with good lyrics and music, how does it make u feel? does it make u happy to hear good music?

Yes, music speaks to me. I can really sit and THINK when i hear a certain song and i get caught up in it and think and be happy or sad or nostalgic or something

it in a way touches the heart and makes me peaceful. sometimes you have to really think deep about the lyics. yes, it does make me feel happy. when i listen to music i dont just listen and hear it. i listen and feel it.

A lot of songs speak to me. Lately one of my favorites has been Hate Me by Blue October. It makes me think of a guy leaving his girl, but he doesn't want to hurt her. Every time I hear it I get all choked up inside. Here's this girl who's practically a saint for putting up with him and she loves him even though he's a sh*t. I don't know why it affects me like this because I never went through a break-up like this. I guess I'm just an old softie.

Songs speak to me when particularly descriptive, or when they touch on an aspect of my life. It makes me feel empowered, and depending on the mood of the song, joyously happy or heartwrenchingly sad. Yes, good music makes me happy.

Right now I am really into the Rent Soundtrack. I am a big fan of Adam Pascal (Roger) and Rosario Dawson (Mimi). I really think the songs in Rent (the movie and the broadway show) are a message out to people who are in similar situations.

Into the emo/post-hardcore/screamo/pop-punk/melodic rock.
Lately, I've been cutting into the lyrics alot.
There is this one song on this c.d that just came out...and when I hear this part in the song...I just get goosebumps all over. so it just depends what I'm listening to...when its a happy song...ya, it makes me feel.
I'm a big music freak...and I really let music soak into my skin and body.

music is a universal language all songs communicate with me, i get all sorts of emotions when i hear music, sometimes its memories, and sometimes i get lost in the lyrics, and sometimes i just enjoy the instruments and get a good feeling
