She has already been Baker Acted 3 or 4 times and always released to me. I don't have the tools to deal with her. She continues to use hydrocodone, somas, percaset, anti anxiety meds. Doctors continue to write perscription after perscription she claims she has back pain. Pain clinics will give her whatever she wants. Living is impossible. She is becomming more insane everyday.

First, I would discuss this destructive cycle with her psychiatrist. If she is spinning out of control and abusing medication, he/she may be able to commit her to a psych. hospital. If she has the power to go and get her pain medicines, you have the power to keep her out of your house. She isn't going to stop until she is ready or dead. I know this sounds tough, but you are allowing her to do whatever she wants. She may seek shelter at a halfway house, or other living facility. You are 'enabling' her to use, don't sign anything to allow her to be released to you again. Contact NA (Narcotics Anonymous, http://www.na.org ) for help. Good luck!

Call Family Protective Services, or whatever the social worker system is called in your area. They can get her some help. She'll probably have to be in an inpatient facility and then when she improves she can go to a half-way house. Or if you can't find someone to help her, don't sign for her to be released to you next time and they will have no choice but to get her help. That won't make you a bad person, and try not to feel guilty. You've done all you can do, now let the professionals take over. Good Luck.
