I believe we are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. Many professional psychics have grown up in a psychic friendly environment. Perhaps a grand-parent or parent with the knowledge has helped bring the extra sense out in the open and encouraged its use. But there are as many practicing psychics who have not had the benefit of caring psychic guidance and who have still managed to develop and hone this natural extra sense. The Psychic Sense.

I think age is relative, only the person with ability will know. I think a gift is precious and I've looked at psychic issues before because I believe I have some level of clairsentience. I wondered if I could develop further but I reached the point that if I was given a gift then I shouldn't be asking for more than I was given, a view I was given by someone on a spiritual website. In terms of generation, perhaps psychic capacity is possibly inherited to.

I don't think it's a generation gift as it's just a natural ability that seems to awaken and go pretty quick at any age...

But you ever notice the real people with psychic abilities will usually get info or placement into a normal setting but never get the winning lotto numbers.. or information on something dear to their hearts?

I think everyone has the capability - some more than others. I think it manifests when "it" is ready not at any given age. I think it requires an open mind...duh. My gift is premonition. The "biggest" ones I have had in my life-dreamt Ronald Reagen was shot 3 days before he actually was - dreamt it in very accurate detail. When Miles Davis died in 1991 the night before both my boyfriend and I dreamt that he had died. Other stuff - everyday stuff - I can think of someone I haven't seen or heard from in a while - arbitrarily and within 24 hrs I will run into that person or they will call me....most of the time I don't need caller I.D. - know who is calling before I pick up the phone. If you have gifts - just keep your heart and mind open.

I have know from about 7yrs old but just thought it was normal....

The older i got the more i realized that i was psychic, to the stage where i could tell people things just by their aura or present.

Others chose to ignore or block their gift, others just try to make themselves have psychic abilities by reading and pretending.

Myself i have studied every spiritual path and belief, now after yrs I'm happy, never charge for a Reading if you are meant to have one you will find me and they do....

So i believe if you have the ability you will find the right path for yourself whether you are seeking it or stumble on it.

Most spiritual mediums are shown gift after 50+yrs as they need to develop and commit 100% to the spirits , so each on their own path eh...

I think it usually shows up when we are younger, rather than older, unless we had it all along and weren't aware of it. I think it might be a generatin gift in many cases, but I'd be reluctant to call it genetically-based.
