About half the amount and half as fast. Dial up is not worth it if you have alot to do on the internet. It depends on what you are doing on the internet. Experiment and see what works for you. Good luck. Sam

DON"T DO IT! Trust me, I just went through it. I got dial up through my phone company and I was so frustrated, I wouldn't even get online much. It was only $9.95 monthly, but not even worth it. It was sooooo slow, I actually fell asleep waiting for it to load. Plus I couldn't even get on some sites and could not get alot of mail with pictures in them because it would not load.
