Make yourself important.
Go out there, and join as many clubs and organizations as you can. IF you can't be an officer, at least get as involved as possible. You'd be surprised at the reaction of those people who are tired, like you are, of everything being such a popularity contest.

well thats basically what u call high school. my freshman year all i wanted to do waz fit in and i use to act like the way the popular kids acted but deep down that wasnt who i waz and i knew it and so did they so i still didnt get da attention i wanted until i started actin like myself and joined a lot of clubs and made a lot of friend now most of everybody know my name!

Why don' you show some of your skill. Like how Napoleon Dynamite dances, I bet you could do something like that. That was how my old school was, until I started showing off my skills. Bouncing off walls and doing crazy matrix-style moves, i was the bestest kid there.

concentrate on your English lessons, learn to spell and use your school years wisely so you can obtain a great job and plentiful life and be able to look back and laugh at the "who's who" while you're enjoying excellent vacations and a happy life.

umphh! not fair, but that's life... either talk to your teachers about it or get noticed by your principal... that'll help a bit.
You can also observe the 'important' people and learn from them, develop your own skills and you might be on that list too (just remember to be yourself, people follow those who they percieve as 'cool', but they loathe those who try too hard because they see themselves reflected on them)
