I talk to myself all the time....its my way of ensuring I don't miss anything if I am working on something important, and yes plenty of people catch me doing it......you only need to be concerned about talking to yourself if you answer back...lol

I talk to myself because I'm in an office alone for most of the day. Sometime someone might catch me at it, but their response to it is .... "Well, at least you're not answering yourself."

I talk to myself all the time. People catch me doing it out in public, but who cares. At least when I talk to myself, I get the right answers.

Not out loud. But when I took a dose of Hydroxycut I became so hyper I couldn't stop talking to myself (or moving for that matter) until I ran it off. That was the first and last time I'm ever taking any of that stuff. <_<

To Cherry Red you are not alone I have felt the same way for years but for a long time I did know if any body ever heard me
until one day I was in my bed room com-planing about something out loud or as they say talking to my self. When I got finished my daughter came out of my bath room and told me she heard everything I said and ask me why was I talking to my self. I did not get to mad at her but I made sure after that I always looked in my bathroom to see if any body was using it.

I do sister. You betcha. Sometimes I am just trying to remember something out loud in the store or at home, or sometimes I will have a rant on someone whom it would be better not to rant personally at, to get it out of my system and release it, or I make up stupid songs, or just generally jabber away. At home though. What the hay, I'm not locked up in or in any danger of it. It has been studied that those of us who talk to ourselvles are unique, artistic, question everything and are generally not of the "status quo" which suits me nicely. You keep on yakkin, girl!

I'm an adult and I talk to myself ALL the time! I don't get caught that often and even when I do it's usually total strangers so who cares? If you know that you're NOT crazy it doesn't matter right?

Often. It's great because I can always guarantee that someone intelligent is listening. Which in public is not always the case.
It works in the car to problem solve or reflect past incidences.
