If possible hang them outside for a day, the sun and fresh air will remove all the bacteria in the cloths...They will smell so fresh when you bring them in, but it`s a good idea to wash them again.
I love the way my clothes smell when I hang them outside.
The sun is a good way to remove oil from dishrags and keep whites very white and removing bacteria from material

Clothes can smell bad without being mildewed. Sometimes a "sour" smell occurs if clothes aren't put in the dryer quickly enough after washing. That can be fixed by putting them through a fresh rinse cycle and prompt drying. If strong odors are a continuing problem, try adding 1/2 cup powdered bleach or water conditioner to the wash.

Try adding a couple tablespoons of ammonia and washing it in cold water. It works for sure...but then you have to wash the clothes again with regular detergent.

Use Clorox Pen sample. Squeeze the fine point tip and rub it on the stain. Then, leave it for a while, before you wipe it dry with a towel. You may as well visit this site http://www.upkb.com/cloroxpen.php for the product details.

try some dish soap. it is supposed to remove grease and baked on stains. it also removes smells. or some lemon juice. baking soda and vinegar together also do a nice job. if all else fails, i hear that oxyclean works. good luck.
