A planetary nebula is a cloud of gas and dust cast off by a dying star, and illuminated by the white dwarf that the star has become. Because the nebula is gradually expanding, it will fade away in a few thousand years. Compared to galactic nebulae, they are smaller, more structured, and shorter lived.
Galactic clouds of gas and dust contract under their own gravity, or from supernova shocks, to form clusters of stars. These young stars provide illumination for parts of the nebula. Typically, much of such a cloud is dark and detected only where it blocks the light from more distant stars.

Nebula are clouds of gas and dust floating around in space. They are primarily the places where stars are born. Planetary Nebula are specifically created when dying stars go nova and puff off their outer layers. A good example would be the Ring Nebula. Regular Nebula (if there's a name for them) are created when enough gas and dust collects in one spot to have its own gravity hold itself together. Some of these can be very big, and a good example is the Orion Nebula. If the gas and dust in these is dense enough, gravity can cause globs of gas to condense even further, forming stars.

A planetary nebula is a subtype of nebula, a shell of gas expelled by a dying star. A nova is a stellar explosion. A supernova is a far more cataclysmic event which happens when a massive star collapse in on itself.

A planetary nebula is a ring of gases coming off of a dieing star. a nebula is a clould of dust and gases where the new sters are made. planetary nebulas can help produce new stars too.
