They do dream... But...
1. There are no visual images in the dreams of those born without any ability to experience visual imagery in waking life.
2. Individuals who become blind before the age of five seldom experience visual imagery in their dreams, although Deutsch (1928) reports some visual imagery in six schoolchildren who lost their sight before age five.
3. Those who become sightless between the ages of five and seven may or may not retain some visual imagery.
4. Most people who lost their vision after age seven continue to experience at least some visual imagery, although its frequency and clarity often fade with time.

i would imagine that they would dream, but not in the way that we as seeing people dream,
like for example, a blind persons other senses are hightened compared to ours, like they have a better sense of smell , touch, taste, etc
so
if they had a dream where they were on a boat, they would dream about the smell of the sea, the motion of the boat, the sounds of the sea,
where as we would see the water moving, they would hear it
just my opinion, im no expert, but thats the way i would think was the case

Yes, because when they touch objects the human mind has the power to convert the sense of touch into images. Images of the mind in which the mind can understand. They may not be able to have the color down, but with the discriptions of color that is discribed to them the mind is able to create its own visable attraction as we the seeing have come to know as color. Just because you are blind doesnt mean you cant see.

You have an imagination, right? Have you ever imagined what something was like that you've never seen, felt, or heard? And then did you ever experience what you imagined at a later time and discover that your imagination was right? We can see through our "minds eye"! Touch and sound will also provide inner "visual" stimuli for a blind person! Check into it.

of course, anything that thinks dreams, blind people just have dreams with strange visuals I imagine, instead of people and trees and stuff they get impressions, thoughts, feelings and such. Have you never had a dream where you could "see" what a person was thinking?

Probably not in images - They may dream of conversations or experiences they have had in their own lives - good question though - got me thinking!

i would say they do. dreams are a mental, subconscious thing. they might have images of what they think the world around them looks like. kinda like deaf people. have you ever heard one try to talk? thats how they think we sound when we talk. maybe their dreams are all distorted or maybe real pretty. just different.

"To sleep, perchance to dream"
If you don't dream, then you never sleep, dreaming is the end part of the sleeping cycle.
What constitutes a dream? It is thought, whether it be visual, in colour, in monochrome or purely auditory or other senses it is still a dream.
