It's a firewall and you really shoulden't bypass it but if it's seriously locked down you can try using a proxy.
If the sites are not blocked try;

goto https:// sites. it only blocks out http:// sites. I know i have the same thing at my school. got to https://www.kproxy.com its a proxy that bypasses it.
