Kyle hasn't had many good races in the last few years, and Petty Enterprises is still playing catch up. To finish 10th at a tough track like Martinsville has to feel pretty awesome. And Bobby Labonte had a great race also. Can a win be too far away?

It was nice to see both Petty Enterprises cars in the top ten.

I can see Bobby getting a win between now and when the Car of Tomorrow is fully used. Kyle not so much.

It's great to see both Petty cars in the top 10 (first time since 1999!).

They actually asked Bobby during Inside Nextel Cup this week if he and Kyle's team share set-ups and whatnot, and he honestly replied that they really don't share much. So this goes to show that the 43 and 45 teams run pretty much independantly from each other, I'm guessing just for preference, probably Kyle likes running the 45 like a single-car effort, just for comfort reasons, etc.

yeah its been plenty of bad finishes for petty enterprises which is so surprising because Robbie Lomis from the hendrick team #24 he was the crew cheif and they just got Bobby Labonte to drive the #43 they seem to have such great people but it just doesn;t come across on the track, another thing that doesn;t help is the sport seems to be so close with all the teams specially with owners adding more cars to there team with in the past few years, and Bobby just had like a top 3 finish and it was his best finish yet in the 43 i hope they can start turning things around i know i would love to see that famous 43 in victory lane or kyle in 45

I'm not impressed only because I have seen some of Kyle Petty's best runs recently being on short tracks. As for a win, I'd ve willing to bet Labonte wins sometime in the near future

A win may come next year. Awesome run by Petty Enterprises cars. Kyle comes in tenth even though he was spun out at one point. Both Kyle and Bobby are proven winners.

Yes I was. Always been a fan of Bobby Labonte. Loomis going to Petty Enterprises was a huge plus. He's a no nonsense guy.

I think Kyle did a fine job. Like you said, it's pretty rare for Kyle to even be up front with the leaders, and he usually doesn't do very well. So, I'm definetely happy to see him up front and doing well. Also, Bobby Labonte sure did well, too!! I like both those drivers, and hope I keep seeing them stick up front with the leaders...and I certainly think a win may be in their future!

Wasn't it nice to see a Petty car up there in the top 5. And the second car in the top 10. It was a great day. I'm sure that there is a win for them soon.

Kyle Petty is one of 3 I want to see win another race.Other than Petty,Sterling Marlin and Kenny Schrader they are over due for wins.
And I had Petty tagged for a top 10.

I'm impressed with the whole Petty operation this year. I just hate that Adam got killed. I think the racing gene skipped Kyle, but Adam definately had that Petty spirit.
